The Landscape Of Compassion committee members recognise the value of communities, no matter how small or remote, to their community members, working responsively and preventatively to foster and support the recognition, development and maintenance of their skills and diversity.

Committee members share passion for communities and the importance of:
~ working with the freedom of no agenda
~ being open to community people of all ages, gender and belief
~ working with an idea from the community and help them bring it to life
~ offering hands-on proactive and practical solutions to help whole communities
~ offering wellness options to communities who have faced traumatic life changing events such as natural disasters

When whole communities are faced with overcoming adversity it is vitally important that statewide communities work side by side with directly and indirectly impacted communities to help them endure and sustain the immediate to long-term recovery.

Fostering community links enables us to work together with community members and to support each community in the establishment and maintenance of its capacity to cater for the diversity of needs of its members in dealing with emergency situations for the duration of the crisis and beyond.
